About Us
Creating a legacy
OUR STORY
I can remember longing to hunt since I was a little kid. When I turned six years old, my dad finally let me go on a quail hunt with him. I was the bird dog. I loved everything about that first hunt. The beauty of watching the dogs point and hold while my dad walked up to kick up the covey of quail. The sound of the flight was loud and exhilirating. The shots as the quail dodged amongst the thorny mesquite trees. The sweet smell of gun powder. The anxious dogs carrying their prized possessions of birds to their best human friends to celebrate their accomplishments. I knew this was a very special time that was carried on through each generation of our family. And I had begun my journey of this prized opportunity of sharing these special moments with my ancestors and my posterity.
Unfortunately, over the years, the wild bobwhite quail diminished and became a rare site. As I now have become a grandpa to some wonderful grandchildren, I realize the limitation in them feeling the adrenaline pumping surge from hunting bobwhite quail. So I decided to do something about it. This way our legacy will continue to their posterity.
